Yonas loved the woods and bikes. Nicki loved travel and adventure. The two met by cosmic effect in California, the birthplace of mountain biking. Nicki’s infectious smile locked down Yonas’ love, and soon they were inseparable. They started spending evenings, then whole days, and then entire weekends in the woods, getting lost finding trailheads and sweating so much (mainly Yonas sweating so much).
The love of nature, adventure, and beautiful things led to this site as a way to share with others both their knowledge and the journey of growth in experiencing all the beauty and splendor of California.
